Both of the sovereigns have been defeated. Each taken out by a single ally of Merlin Warlock who sees the whole ordeal as nothing more than an opportunity to make his allies stronger. Though this did lead to a lot of dangerous moments within the entirety of the bout, the fact still remains that his allies are able to win. That is all that matters.

More than anything, this should serve to show that he is not easy to beat. That, even if his enemies lurk in the shadows and wait for an opening when they can attack, he won’t be defeated. He has countermeasures and, if they so much as take a wrong step, he will make sure that they pay for it with their lives.
