“Alright, let’s see what we got here.” Sylvie looked down at the enemies she needs to fight – wolves. There are a lot of them, a whole pack to be exact. Though she doesn’t need to actually kill each and every one. The only target she needs to take care of is the alpha of the pack, no more no less. But that’s not what she’s intending to do.“Since you’re all going to leave the forest anyway, I might as well give you an easier exit.” Sylvie said as she planned how to attack the monsters. Drawing out her twin blades and poised to strike. She needs to kill as many monsters as she can because, she wants to catch up to Samira the manticore. She knows that in a fight, she can’t win against this beast. Not with her current level. Even with all the tricks at her sleeve and even with all the planning she could do, she knows that it still won’t be enough against the absolute and indomitable strength of Samira. Though she’d never tell this to the manticore straight at her face.“Like hell will I
[Azazel Dungeon – Three days after Merlin’s hibernation began]Teach gathered all of the kobold workers into the throne room. He’s not sitting on the throne of course because it isn’t his place to do so. Instead, he’s sitting on the steps that lead to it. With a system window opened in front of him, scrolled through with the pointing finger of his left hand. The other hand is used to brush the hair on top of his forehead. His brows are furrowed and his lips are completely flat; devoid of any emotion. The kobolds have been there for more than two minutes but Teach hasn’t even said a word to them yet. Two of these that are on the front began acting up because of it. The one on the left rubbed his elbow to the one on the right. Giving an obvious signal which the other kobold understood. Making a sound close to coughing which Teach heard. The kobolds know he head it because he extended his browsing hand towards them, raising his pointing finger and then proceeding to go back to what he
There are a couple of buildings that have been raised within Azazel dungeon. With Merlin’s priority of raising these instead of getting some soldiers to defend his dungeon, he’s able to speed up the process since he also doubled the number of kobolds that he already owns. Having around forty of these guys around. That being said, the kobolds are distributed in two tasks. Collection and building. That is all they need to do and, in the span that they’ve been doing this, they’re able to create a total of ten. All of which are now being observed closely by Teach who’s gone through another day of quality check.“Alright let’s start with the barracks.” The hybrid said as he went in front of this building. The barracks is one of the latter added buildings. Though it may sound like a stupid choice since this can supply soldiers, Merlin had no need for such early on. He has enough firepower with just himself, Sylvie, and Teach. Not to mention he also had the banshees up his arsenal. Powerful
Dungeon monsters. There are two types of dungeon monsters that can exist. The first are those that are summoned by the lord of the dungeon. This is the more common version. Since there is a master over the dungeon, it is only right that this creature can also create others that are fitting for its rulership. Then there’s the second type. Invaders.Every dungeon has parts of it that are unexplored. Even high-level dungeons have spots like these. Usually, adventurers would steer away from the said areas because of the surprises that might come along the way. There can be monsters, traps, or worse, a dungeon instance – another dungeon that has the potential of being more difficult than the one which the group intended to clear. Invaders can come from any of the three that’s been mentioned. They can be monsters that’s just lurking on the uncharted areas of the dungeon. They aren’t dangerous to the dungeon itself as long as they aren’t bothered of course. But if their nest is reached by t
Dirth the shaman is nothing more than a goblin. He thinks of himself as a servant to the manticore Samira and, now, even to the demon lord Merlin. But other than this, he thinks there isn’t anything special about him. This stems from the fact that he has always compared himself to his master, Samira. With her as the standard, he won’t ever come close to the level he wants to achieve. That’s why he keeps on striving to get stronger. Allowing him to transcend the very limits of his race. Reaching [Level 100] right after the destruction of Genesis City. He could very well be the ruler of all goblins. The one who stands above all of them. But he never thought of this role, nor would it even cross his mind. For him, it is already enough that he’s being of service to those that has enough power to rule the continent. That is his level of vision. This same shaman is currently with his first master – Samira the manticore. The
The four sovereign monsters. These creatures had command over hundreds and thousands of monsters during the Requiem event where they attempted to take down the city of Genesis. Among there is one who is particularly dangerous. All because of the number of monsters at his disposal. This is none other than [Gerant].An ogre shaman boasting of his high level of [300], there is no way that he can be taken as a joke. Among the four sovereigns, he has the highest firepower. He’s also the one commanding the most units. A six-foot-five blood red ogre who uses blood arts as one of the many means of his spellcasting. That’s right. This bastard makes use of blood in order to conjure despicable spells. Even Merlin himself wasn’t able to figure out how this is done by the monster because, he’s not the one who killed it. And the one who did kept it hidden. Literally. Nobody ever found out who did it. The blood arts was lost to time but, this time around, there is a chance to harvest it. This creat
[Earlier On - Before Samira’s Attack]Gerant sent an advance unit to scout the area ahead of time. The distance between the shaman leader and this scouting group is long enough that Gerant would need two hours of travel time to reach their current location. A good enough gap that ensures that, should the scouts get killed, then at least the rest of them would still be relatively safe.As for how the scouts are reporting to him well, the only thing they need to do is shoot an arrow to the sky. One that’s filled with flammable powder that easily spreads into smoke. This comes in varying colors and, depending on the color of smoke coming out, Gerant will know what his next move would be.This ensures that they won’t encounter any untoward circumstance where they have to fight in a disadvantageous situation. After all, the blood ogre shaman is a tactical monster. Even with all of the power he has at his disposal, he never disregards the need for a plan before entering into combat. Nor doe
[Earlier On - Before Samira’s Attack]Samira knew that things aren’t finished yet. Though she’s a brute who immerses herself in the thrill of the hunt and the battles that follow, she is, in no way, an idiot. Her vast influence over the continent allowed her to collect a couple of enemies along the way. She’s also able to distinguish the followers of these enemies and, the ones she just fought, looks like they’re owned by Gerant.“Dirth.”“Yes my queen.”After dealing with all of them, that’s when Dirth came down to the scene. The goblin shaman didn’t waste any time and went there quickly.“This looks like the coward’s work.” The manticore went to a corpse and examined it closely.“The markings on their face is enough proof my queen.” Dirth said, noticing the markings on the head of the abomination. How the whole of it is painted with red and in the form of a skull. The very symbol of the followers of Gerant the Blood Ogre Shaman.“He’s nearby?” She asked.“Wait. Let me confirm it fir
