The Dungeon's Caretaker III

Dungeon monsters. There are two types of dungeon monsters that can exist. The first are those that are summoned by the lord of the dungeon. This is the more common version. Since there is a master over the dungeon, it is only right that this creature can also create others that are fitting for its rulership.

Then there’s the second type. Invaders.

Every dungeon has parts of it that are unexplored. Even high-level dungeons have spots like these. Usually, adventurers would steer away from the said areas because of the surprises that might come along the way. There can be monsters, traps, or worse, a dungeon instance – another dungeon that has the potential of being more difficult than the one which the group intended to clear.

Invaders can come from any of the three that’s been mentioned. They can be monsters that’s just lurking on the uncharted areas of the dungeon. They aren’t dangerous to the dungeon itself as long as they aren’t bothered of course. But if their nest is reached by t
