CHAPTER 104

Even though the skeletal figure draped in tattered rags never physically touched Myles, he felt like his face itself was being eaten away and his breath getting robbed.

This couldn’t be an illusion. He wasn’t just seeing things. This wrath-like monster was real!

Myles didn’t know what to do. The pulling force was beyond what he could resist, so he used the momentum to his advantage and went in for a headbutt.

BAM!

A cracking noise echoed as the monster’s skull broke. It screamed in a terrifying, soul-trembling vocal.

Myles’ forehead also bled, but he didn’t stop. Even though everything was hazy, he knew where his sword was. He unsheathed it and swiped it with all he got. The blade cleaved through the rags and the bony neck of the monster, decapitating it in the process.

The head fell and rolled.

He slashed his sword again and cut through the rags and bones of its torso as swiftly as his arms allowed him to move. He couldn’t keep going for long because of the wounds in his foot and hea
