CHAPTER 32

The explosions destroyed the top floor of Duncan’s skyscraper, sending metal pieces flying everywhere.

“Stay alert!” Alpha Ayan firmly stood on top of a drone with his arms closed. He was able to stand straight even though the explosions pushed the drones away. He was the son of the former city lord, and he was young and stylish. “This much isn’t enough to kill the Aqua Double.”

As he hissed, the mother and daughter were still standing in a silvery water sphere, not at all hurt by the massive explosion that was heard by half the population in the city.

“More and more are gathering like cockroaches,” Maria gnashed her teeth. “We should leave right now, or we might not survive another day.”

Rosie’s heart skipped a beat. “What about Phil?”

Maria glanced at her daughter, furling her brow in suppressed fury. “Are you seriously worrying about him now when your own life should be of more priority? Besides, he’s going to die soon anyway.”

Rosie frowned. “I.. I’ll save him no matter what.”
