CHAPTER 39

“Impossible!” Amir couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Until now, nobody had ever broken out of his Grand Freezing like Myles just did.

“You’re attacking me because I killed your son,” Myles stated. “I can understand that, but what did the students of this institute do to you? If killing them is justifiable, don’t you think I can justify your son’s death even more?”

“Shut the fuck up!” Amir howled and recklessly attacked Myles with his bare fist. But it was stopped with just a mere finger. Amir’s face turned pale. His punch that could destroy a boulder into smithereens was blocked by Myles’ forefinger. “H-How’s this possible?”

Myles looked into Amir’s eyes and saw his past. When Amir was a kid, his parents used to fight everyday, and then they would show all their frustration on him. They only had horrible words for him. Growing up, home was like hell to him. Maybe that was why he completely let his son Emery live however he wanted.
