The sword came slashing down at Myles’ head at a terrifying speed and seemed as if it would easily cleave him in two, but it didn’t.

Its tip just missed Myles by an inch, which startled the double-chinned man who was a beta-ranked member of the Red Blade squad. (I missed? I’m sure I entered his range.)

“This poor thing,” Myles was looking at a dragonfly whose feet got stuck in the cracks on the drone. Though it was one of the dragonflies that had attacked the drone in an attempt to kill him and others, he still pitied this animal as it reminded him of his pet dragonfly.

As he approached, the double-chinned man warned, “You don’t want to do that. The dragonflies are easily irritable, and these diamond-backed dragonflies are known to be super strong and aggressive. If it ends up freeing itself, it can chew your face up in seconds.”

Myles still approached the dragonfly which kept buzzing in anxiety. “Hey, buddy…” he gently called it.
