"Hazel, you're going back to the office with them," Ethan said after reaching the car he was in.

"Where are you going?" asked Hazel.

"I still have to take care of something that's been pending for some time. This car, I'll take it." Then Ethan told the driver to get down to him. "Give me the keys."

"Wait, sir. Do you want to take it yourself?" Hazel swiftly held back the driver's hand that was about to hand over the keys he was holding. "You've just recovered from a stab wound, you can't drive the vehicle yourself."

"But this is my business. I can't let anyone else come with me," Ethan, who still looked calm, said.

"Why?"

Instantly, Ethan's gaze became flat. It wasn't that he was annoyed with Hazel for continuing to ask, but he didn't like that what he was doing was a personal matter that he felt should be covered.

About Delilah and Daran, he didn't want anyone else to know how they treated him because it was very embarrassing.
