I'll Do It

Calvin quickly opened the door, his heart racing as he heard the desperate cries for help. Standing before him was a middle-aged woman he recognized as his neighbor from a few houses down. Normally impeccably dressed and driving a luxury car, she now appeared frantic and disheveled. Her hair was in disarray, her eyes wide with panic, and her clothes rumpled as if she had dressed in a hurry.

"Dr. Hudson," she began, her voice trembling, "my name is Susan Mitchell. I live two houses down from you."

"I know, Mrs. Mitchell," Calvin replied, concern etched on his face. "What's wrong?"

"Dr. Hudson, I know you’re a renowned healer. I need your help—my son is dying!" she cried, tears streaming down her face.

Calvin’s heart sank. "Where is he now?"

"He's in the hospital," Mrs. Mitchell explained, her voice breaking. "But the doctors there have given up. They’ve told us there’s nothing more they can do, and they’re suggest
