Christina looked up, her eyes locking onto the person who had spoken. To her astonishment, it was Alana, standing there with a glass in her hand and a sardonic smile playing on her lips. The insincerity in Alana's voice was palpable as she repeated, "Oh, I didn't mean to. I'm so sorry."
