Chapter Thirteen

Everyone was shocked when Megan broke the news. They look at Megan disgusted; they can't believe she still has the guts to come back and lie to them.

Jessica was about to leave the house to see her friends when Megan entered. Seeing Megan's attitude, she couldn't let her go unpunished.

“And you expect us to believe this nonsense.”

She clenched her fists and yelled at Megan. Dennis knows it was not possible; Megan just left the house a while ago, and there is no way director Evelyn could've approved their contract like it was planned ahead.

“You think you can trick us or take us for a fool, right? I thought you were here to beg for mercy, but it seems you have not learned your lesson.”

Dennis pointed at Damien.

“It's a shame you still move around with this bastard.”

He faces Megan with a cold look. Deep down inside him, he was happy Megan had become worthless in the face of everyone; finally his daughter Oliver can now take the spotlight.
