Chapter 128: Killjoy

Immediately Raymond signed out, Myrtle who had been lurking around hurried towards him with a broad smile. Returning her smile, they began to chat lightly as they headed for the garage.

When they arrived at the bar, Raymond led her to the reserved table then asked her to order drinks.

"Sir, you are a heavy drinker. Should I pour more for you?" Myrtle asked with a soft chuckle. Three bottles were already empty.

"Yeah. Go ahead, thank you for the drinks, I really appreciate it." Raymond smirked, giving her thumbs up. He was feigning to be drunk so he would catch her off guard.

Because of the dim light in the bar, Myrtle thought he had been drinking the champagne she always refilled his glass with. Unknowingly to her, the content of his glass always landed on the floor.

"Come on sir, I should be the one appreciating you. I invited you for drinks but you ended up paying for them. Thanks for the treat, I promise to put my best at work." She reeled with a curt bow.
