Chapter 127: A Trap

By the time they wrapped up the meeting, it was already past three pm. After contemplating on where to have lunch, they decided to settle for the same restaurant Raymond had been to in the morning.

While they ate, they talked about casual things, throwing jokes at each other.

At the end of the day when Raymond retired to his room, he turned on his laptop to continue from where he had stopped to modify his plan.

"If only he knows what is coming for him." He muttered, popping two pills into his mouth.

"Are the police going to be involved?" Julia asked, startling him in the process. He never knew he had company until she spoke.

"You scared me." He groaned, swirling his chair in her direction.

"I know. So, what makes you confident that this plan is going to work?" She was towering above him now with her hands across her chest.

"Because I have studied him carefully. His weakness is greed and that's where I have decided to tackle."
