"What?" She asked.

"I am fighting for you Ciara." Lucas replied knowing that Ciara did not understand what he had said.

"Lucas, you know, my mother asked me to find out who you really are, because if I can remember clearly... My grandfather made you a guard the day we were attacked... You were a total stranger!" Ciara said.

Lucas felt hurt and shocked at her recall.

"A stranger whom you dated back then in college?" Lucas added as he wanted to hold Ciara but she threw his hands away from her as she picked her bag from the bed.

She was all dressed up now.

"After you left me back then, you became a stranger, what I don't understand is what my grandfather saw inside of you... To sign his favourite granddaughter that he had a tacit understanding with to a man who can't even fight for his marriage!" Ciara fired at Lucas.

"Ciara!" Lucas called out in shock.

Could this still be the woman who he just made moan and scream over the bed, hours ago?
