Citra let out a long sigh.

She could only lament that her cell phone had now changed hands from her.

"As long as you and Martin have not officially tied the knot, I will confiscate your cell phone," said Mrs. Merry to her only child.

A long sigh escaped her mouth. She could only close her eyes, letting her mother's bad attitude envelop her.

The hurt that Citra now felt from her parents' attitude was seared into her heart.

She was no longer able to show her good behavior at all. Even just making small talk, getting words out of her mouth was not something she wanted to do anymore.

"Tonight is the right dinner with Martin. Don't let you make Mama feel embarrassed again. It's enough that you made a mess last night but not today and the next few days," Mrs. Merry reminded the woman.
