At the Brisa do Mar coffee shop, Marianne doesn’t believe that Penha managed to reverse the situation and accuses Laura of being to blame for the confusion. In front of her friends, she argues as best she can.

"Don't say you care so much about your daughter to defend her." Marianne tries to counter-argument.

"It's not about defending her, it's about showing everyone the whole picture." Penha maintains her dignity, "My daughter was wrong to make a scandal at that autograph session and we already punished her for that, but, strangely, no one spoke about your daughter!"

"If you're insinuating that we paid journalists..."

Penha retorts haughtily, "I don't insinuate, I accuse with evidence!"

The friend who spoke first gestures, "Dears, if we're not going to have a peaceful snack, I suggest we end this nasty little chat."

Penha stares in disbelief at the friend, "I didn't think you girls wanted to have a peaceful chat from the start, but that's ok."
