Aline is hastily packing her bags, dumping everything in the open suitcases. Carla helps her by gathering personal belongings from drawers and dressers.

"Put it all down anyway, I don't have time for frills, Carla!" Aline speaks desperately as if Penha is going after her to kill her.

"Your mother has crossed all limits, my friend!" Carla wonders, "Why did she become so mean?"

"The damn birthday party, that's it!" Aline lets out tears, "How I regret that! If Reggie had known me that day, he would never have laid eyes on me the next day."

"He's different from those rich old men who got you pregnant just by looking." Carla goes to the bathroom and removes Aline's toiletries.

"Yes, I hope to see him someday." Aline smiles through her tears. Little does she imagine that Reginaldo probably won't look for her anymore.

"To
