As Liam, Lindy, and Jordan hastily walked down the narrow streets, their footsteps reverberated through the empty alleyways during the quiet night. Liam still felt the adrenaline rush from facing Harlow, but the gravity of their recent encounter lingered in the atmosphere. After narrowly surviving, Liam couldn't stop thinking about Harlow's chilling threat.

"We can't continue to run like this," Jordan gasped as they turned a corner and slipped into a small park, out of sight from the streetlights. "Liam, he has too much power." This time we were fortunate.
