“Should I do it?” Camila asked.

Even though she knew that Christian had already given a very luxurious gift, she still felt reluctant to pursue him. It was no longer about money for Camila; there was something else between her and Declan.

Now Declan’s face appeared gloomy as well. His engagement was now at risk because Christian, from somewhere, had managed to bring a lavish gift.

Marigold turned to Camila and said, “Yes, of course, you should chase him. I think he’s hiding something.”

“That’s right, sis. Hurry, go after him. Regardless, someone who can afford a master Cedro diamond necklace is worth considering,” Larina said.

Lyka put the diamond necklace back into the box and said, “You are all so embarrassing. You were the ones who drove Christian away earlier, but now you’re asking for Christian to be here.”

Marigold and Larina felt offended by what Lyka had said, but they couldn’t complain right away because Lyka had already gone to her room on the second floor of the house.
