Don Clinton and David were a few steps closer to the darkroom when David asked, "Is that the door to the room?"

"Yes, boss," Don replied sharply, following David step by step.

"Hurry up and open it, I don't have much time," he ordered as Don quickly rushed to the door.

"I dare not waste a second of your time, boss."

Don darted to the door and opened it widely. His eyes went down to his boys lying almost on top of each other on the tiny floor of the room.

He had a faint smile on his face, seeing them obey his command.

They dared not disobey him!

The boys were all struggling to catch their breath as they breathed heavily.

They all raised squinted eyes up to see who opened the door. The sudden ray of light that flashed into the room made them return their gaze back to the floor.

"We're so sorry, boss. Have mercy on us," they all chorused upon seeing Don's face.
