CHAPTER 137: The Meeting

Over the next few days, Lawton and Smithson meet with different lawyers and sign a bunch of documents.

Lawton also set up meetings with shareholders from Barry's office, with hopes that he would be able to buy their shares from them.

One of such meetings was scheduled for a Monday morning and Lawton decided to go with Smithson and his lawyer.

They both left the penthouse in the morning and made their way to a restaurant where they both agreed to meet up with four of the shareholders.

Lawton and Smithson walked out of their car with their lawyer as they got to the restaurant and made their way inside.

They picked a seat and waited for the shareholders to arrive.

Four middle-aged men soon walked into the restaurant and Lawton stood up from where he was seated and immediately walked towards them.

"Good afternoon," Lawton said, as he shook hands with all the men.

"Please come," he said as he walked over to Smithson.

"Sit," Lawton said, as he sat down.
