CHAPTER 80: The Question

Lawton has mixed feelings as he stares at his food as Logan's comment about his father strikes a nerve with him.

He started to rethink everything that had happened to him and this brought him sad memories.

He also began to think deeply about the comment Logan had made about his father.

He hated that Logan disrespected his father like that but he knew he had to remain calm to find out the main reason he was there.

Mr Logan's taunts had begun to get to Lawton.

"Aren't you going to eat," Logan said as he looked at Lawton who continued to stare at his food.

"Did my words affect you that much," he added, laughing.

"The food smells so good," Lawton said, pulling himself together as he picked up the fork in front of him.

Logan continued to worry about how his words had not intimidated Lawton.

This startled him as he had expected Lawton to punch him in the face or do something irritational as he spoke rudely about his father but his taunts had just been met with a stone-cold silence.
