CHAPTER 79: A Painful Reminder

Logan continued to taunt Lawton but Lawton looked at him in silence as he talked.

He rather feels at peace feeling one step ahead of Logan.

Logan wondered why his taunts hadn't been getting to Lawton as he continued to talk.

He then decided to switch to something else that could upset Lawton further.

"How is life?" Logan said.

"I heard you now work at a small laundry company," Logan continued.

"How is it going?" Logan added.

Lawton figured Lawton was trying to provoke him and decided to calm himself.

"Work is going well," Lawton said smiling.

"Let's talk about you," Lawton added.

"There's nothing to say," Logan said, trying to avoid to topic.

"Can we order food now," he continued.

"Aren't you hungry?" He added.

"I was waiting for you to finish," Lawton said, looking at him.

"I'm ready if you are ready," Lawton added.

Logan then called out to one of the waiters in the restaurant.

He then asked for two menu books for Lawton and himself.

"Ok sir," the waiter said as he walked away.
