The Trillionaire's Revenge

Chapter 6

The day came for Alex to attend the CEO meeting his grandfather told him about. He has gotten used to some documents and some things about his companies and business. Alex was a very handsome and intelligent man. He learned things quickly. He opened the door of his window in his new room. 

His room was large and open, with a wide ceiling and windows that floored the place with natural light. The walls were painted a masculine blue that discerned beautifully with the shady hardwood floors. 

The furniture was elegant and stylish crafted with the finest material and design with both sight and convenience. A large sectional sofa dominated one side of the room. Upholstered in an expensive buttery leather that begged to be touched. A fitting armchair sat in the corner, a plush throw draped over the back. 

A huge flat-screen television hung on the wall, flanked by a pair of sleek black speakers. The table was a work of craft in its own right, made with a single slab of polished marble that glowed in the light. It was decorated with a few carefully chosen items -  a crystal ashtray, a collection of expensive-looking things, and a set of coasters made from hammered copper. 

On the other side of the room, a fully reserved bar took center stage. It was made of rich dark wood, and stocked with every type of Liquor possible. A set of crystal glasses glimmered on a silver tray next to the bottles, and a collection of bar tools was arranged neatly in a wooden caddy. 

The furnishing and decorations all complimented each other perfectly, creating a space that was both functional and stylish.  His room was like an apartment in the house where he now stays, he could afford anything he wanted. As he opened the window in his room to see the beautiful view, his car was already parked waiting to take him to his meeting with the CEOs. 

He immediately heard a knock on the door and he replied. 

“ Yes, who is there,” Alex asked. 

It was his cook, Mrs. Agatha. Mrs Agatha was an aged woman in her late  50s. She was really nice to Alex and served him. She was here to remind him of his meeting and ask what he wanted for breakfast. 

“ Good morning sir,” Mrs Agatha said with a smile 

“ Good morning ma Agatha” he responded immediately. 

“Hope you slept well,” she said with a smile. 

“ Yes, I did,” Alex replied.

“ Your meeting will be in 2 hours’ time,” Mrs. Agatha told Alex. 

“ Sure I remember, I will take my bath now and get prepared in no time,” he said. 

“OK, sir. What would you want for breakfast?”  Mrs Agatha asked. 

“Make me a cup of coffee with toast and bread. Alex answered. 

“ Okay, Sir, I will make exactly what you want,” Mrs Agatha said before leaving. 

Alex took his bath, got dressed, and went downstairs to have his breakfast.  He looked  very rich and expensive. He was putting on nice ironed trousers and a well-fitted long-sleeve shirt and a tie. His shoes were shining black and were not resistible by anyone. 

As he walked out of the house, his personal assistant was already outside waiting for him with his driver. His driver opened the door and he entered. They drove straight to the meeting. As he entered, people were so surprised to see him. They all knew Mr Morris would be retiring but did not know who he would be handing over his businesses and company to. 

“ I think we have a new person in our means,” someone from the crowds said. 

Just before anything. The master of the ceremony climbed the stage. To introduce Alex Brendan. 

“Good morning distinguished guest “ the MC greeted. 

“ With us today, we have the new CEO of The Royals company. An heir to the Brenda family” 

“Mr. Alex Brenda” 

The congregation all stood up to welcome Alex with a round of applause. Alex with all forms  of humility stood up, weaving his hand. He was called out for his presentation.   

Alex finished giving his outstanding presentation at the annual CEO meeting and went back to his seat. He spoke excellently and was greatly applauded. He has never been given this acknowledgment and respect before. 

He was happy his life had changed and things were now going well for him. 

After the meeting, he got different people trying to greet him and get familiar with him. Just before he went out he saw Flex,   his ex-wife's husband, and his former friend. 

Flex was representing the CEO of the company he worked for as a civil engineer.  The CEO was in the country at the moment, and Flex was asked to represent him. He was privileged to attend the annual CEO meeting in Los Angeles. He was there when Alex was greatly welcomed and he was surprised. This just brought about the confirmation of what his wife told him. 

He summoned the courage to walk up to Alex. Alex on the other hand saw him coming close and went straight to join his driver who was already waiting for him outside. 

“Good Afternoon Alex” Mr Felix  greeted. 

“ Yes, Good afternoon” he replied looking at his wristwatch with the look of I don't have time to waste. 

“ Can I have a word with you?” Felix said. 

“ No, if you want to see me, book an appointment with me through my secretary. She will give you a date and a time you can come to see me if it's important. I have things to do now. 

Flex was shocked by the reply Alex gave him. He used to be known as a poor man and someone who could barely talk to him in such a manner.  He didn't know how Alex was now the CEO of The Royals 

Alex is one of the top shareholders of the company he works for. He was about to ask him some questions but was shocked. 

“ Okay Alex, I will stop by your office tomorrow,” Flex said still full of shock. 

“ Bye for now,” Alex said before entering his car. 

As Alex entered his car. He just knew this was the beginning of his revenge. He will make Mr Chris, his family, and all who caused him pain pay for it.  He must take revenge and make them come back on their knees begging for forgiveness. 

“ Sir, you have another meeting with some client from Canada,” Victoria his PA said. 

“ Okay, Josh take me to Top suite. I have a meeting with some client in 20 minutes. Alex told his driver Josh. 

“ Okay, Master” I am heading there right away. Josh responded.
