But then, Roland remembered Thomas. He couldn't just give up now. He had to find out what was really going on.

"Who are you working for?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

The young girl hesitated, but then an older boy stepped forward. "We can't tell you," he said, his voice full of fear.

Roland sighed, frustrated. He had to try something else.

"Why did you steal the information?" he asked, hoping to get some kind of answer.

The older boy shook his head. "We can't tell you," he repeated. "We were just following orders."

Roland's mind raced as he tried to figure out what to do. He had to find a way to get through to them.

"We don't want to hurt anyone," he said softly. "We just want to figure out what's going on, and find a way to make things right."

The young girl looked up at him, tears streaming down her face. "Please," she whispered. "We were just trying to make a difference."
