Forgiveness Is Sweeter

As Roland stepped out of the office building, he felt a surge of anger building inside of him.

He couldn't believe that someone was trying to sabotage his efforts, especially now that he was finally on the brink of exacting his revenge on Debbie.

He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice the sound of footsteps approaching him until someone spoke up.

"Mr. Lafayette?"

Roland turned to look at the man who had addressed him, feeling slightly irritated. He didn't have time to deal with anyone else's problems right now.

"What is it?" he snapped. "I'm in the middle of something."

The man hesitated, looking slightly intimidated by Roland's cold tone. But he seemed to steel himself and stepped forward.

"I'm sorry to bother you, sir," he said. "But I work for the local newspaper, and I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about the demolition."
