Roland stood alone in the vast empty space of his father's mansion.

The air was thick with the scent of flowers and the sound of his father's favorite hymn playing softly in the background.

The funeral had been a grand affair, attended by all the top dignitaries from around the world, but now, it was just him and the memories of his father.

He looked around the room, taking in the somber atmosphere, the walls adorned with his father's portraits and the many awards he had won over the years.

Roland's eyes rested on one particular picture, the one where his father had received the Nobel Peace Prize.

It was a picture that had always filled him with pride, but now it only served to remind him of what he had lost.

The sound of footsteps pulled his attention away from the photograph, and he turned to see his father's closest friend and business partner, Mr. Wilson, approaching him.

"Roland, I am so sorry for your loss," Mr. Wilson said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
