Ceremony and Preparation

I glanced at the window beside me and saw that the sun is setting.

It happened all the time during my previous life, once I immersed myself in reading, I lost track of time.

I finished reading the books I get from the shelves.

The majority of what I read was utterly meaningless. But it didn't stop me from reading as long as I can differentiate what is useful information from meaningless ones.

Information is vital. Even if it's meaningless for now, who can say that information cannot be used in special circumstances in the future?

I get up from my seat and retrieved the books from their shelves.

I stretched my arms upward and felt hungry.

I leave the library and proceed to my room, for sure some of the maids will call me before the dinner starts.
