Whew! I secured my safety here in Haynes Family for the time being.

Why? Well, if someone invites you to a meeting and didn't even shake your hands at first, means that there is some hidden agenda, and the trust is a complete zero.

But when the tension was gone, the meeting ended with a firm handshake. It only means one thing, trust was built.

Since my movement is not restricted here and no one can order me around, I asked one of the maids where is the library.

I walk in the direction she told me and reached the end of the hallway.

I opened the door and was amazed that there were lots of books more than I expected.

The library housed many books.

I inhale deeply and smell the familiar scent of books.

How I miss this smell.

Okay, already secured my role as a knight and my safety. It will not hurt to laze around and read a book for a couple of days, right?

Thinking of the future ahead, my goal is still not within my reach.
