8. Start to selling

Although the thugs who collected Kaiden's debt went home peacefully, they came with a ruckus.

Thanks to them, Kaiden's house was a mess. There was even a hole in the roof, maybe they had thrown a rock or something.

That's why he thought it was better not to have friends just yet.

The girl asked when and where Kaiden would be selling, because she was going to stop by.

It was the first time someone had given him a message, especially since he was already intending to buy. Of course Kaiden was very happy.

Because of the chat, Kaiden suddenly got his spirit back.

With Mr. Toni's help, Kaiden was finally able to sell on the beach with the others.

It happened to be the holiday season, so the beach would be crowded with visitors.

At around six o'clock in the morning, Kaiden had already set up his sale, which was young coconut ice.

It was around ten o'clock in the afternoon, and Kaiden's spirits were beginning to fade.

He saw an old man carrying a bag full of fruits and vegetables. But because he was old, he stumbled and the groceries came out of the bag.

Kaiden reflexively went to the old man and helped him pick up the fruits and vegetables that had fallen out.

"Thank you young man, do you sell young coconuts there?" the old man asked.

Kaiden nodded, "Yes, I sell iced young coconut, would you like to try it?" he asked.

"But I don't have any money with me." said the old man.

Kaiden smiled, "That's okay, I'll give it to you for free, just think of it as you accompanying me to drink, since it's so hot out, let's drink with me."

The man looked pleased, "alright, then I'll take you up on your offer, I happen to be very thirsty too."

Kaiden was energized again, he was very happy when peeling a young coconut to make a drink.

Although he hadn't gotten any customers yet, Kaiden thought it was better to relax first. After all, he was just starting a business, it was impossible to get many customers right away.

"Here, please enjoy." Kaiden gave the young coconut to the old man.

Suddenly, two little girls came to ask for an iced young coconut. Kaiden unsuspectingly gave them both the young coconut ice, but it turned out that the girls only had a little money, and could only buy one young coconut ice.

Kaiden just smiled and let the two girls get the young coconut ice with the money they had.

But the difference is that I didn't get what I wanted with that little money. So, I don't want those two little girls to have a bad day like me." Kaiden said.

The man paused for a moment to stare at Kaiden, before he asked again.

"Then, why are you doing business like this? If you keep doing favors, you'll end up losing money."

Kaiden nodded, "You're right, I know that too, but I won't be like this all the time. I have a lot of debts to pay, so I'll try to focus on earning money."

The old man smiled, "oh, so you have debts? You're still young, and you're already in debt?"

Kaiden chuckled awkwardly, "well, it's actually my family's debt. They owed me a lot of money without my knowledge, then left me alone."

"In that case, why should you be the one to pay? Let your family pay the debt." the old man said.

Kaiden shook his head with a smile, "I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because the family I'm referring to is dead."
