Charles grinned as he received two special reward points from his mysterious system. He imagined all the cool skills he could unlock but decided to save them for when he really needed them.

"Mr. Grey, here are your house keys and all the necessary documents. If you ever need anything or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Once again, congratulations on your new home," Ariana said with a professional smile as she handed him everything.

Charles nodded. "I appreciate it. Thanks for your help."

Taking the documents, he stepped into his mansion. Ariana had already given him a tour, but now, he wanted to explore on his own.

The living room was massive, with a giant, dazzling chandelier hanging in the center. The sofas looked like they belonged in a billionaire’s home—probably because they did. It was at least three times bigger than the living room in Bennett’s family house, and every single thing in it screamed luxury.

Charles walked into the master bedroom and couldn't help but smile. The place was huge, complete with a walk-in closet and a balcony that offered an amazing view. A king-sized bed stood in the middle of the room, and a stylish desk was placed neatly beside it. Everything in here? His.

He thought back to the days when he used to sleep on a tiny mattress in Bennett’s family home. Even when he was married to Sophia, she never let him sleep in the bed. She got the luxurious bed, while he had to make do with a small mattress on the floor like an unwanted guest.

Moving on, he checked out the in-house wine bar, stocked with expensive bottles from different parts of the world, and then wandered into the spacious kitchen. The only time he used to drink was during family meetings at Bennett’s house, and now, here he was, owning a whole bar inside his home. Life had truly changed.

After freshening up and eating a good meal, Charles sat down with a serious expression. It was time to plan his revenge against everyone who had wronged him and his mother. He grabbed a notepad and started writing down names.

First on the list? His ex-wife, Sophia. She had cheated on him and even destroyed his family’s heirloom like it meant nothing.

Next? Richard. That man had treated him like dirt at the hotel and humiliated him in front of Bennett’s entire family.

And speaking of them, every single member of the Bennett family made it onto the list. Years of mockery and cruelty wouldn’t be forgotten.

Lastly, his so-called relatives threw him and his mother onto the streets. Oh, they were going to pay too.

Just as he was deeply invested in his revenge list, his system suddenly sent him a notification.

[Spend $20 million in 24 hours and earn 2 more reward points.]

And just like that, his bank account balance jumped by $20 million.

Charles blinked. Twenty. Million. Dollars.

What on earth was he supposed to spend that kind of money on in just a day?

He already had a luxurious house, but there were still a few things missing. After a moment of thought, he decided it was time to get himself a car. A really nice one.

He searched online and found the top-rated dealership in the city—Regal Motors. After browsing their website, he came across their latest luxury model, a rare Rolls-Royce Sweptail. Price? A mind-blowing $13 million.

Nobody else in the city-owned that model yet. It was perfect.

Charles wasted no time and called the dealership.

"Hello, this is Regal Motors. How can I assist you today?"

"Hey, I saw your latest model on your website. Is it still available?" Charles asked.

There was a brief pause. "Are you referring to the Rolls-Royce Sweptail? Yes, we still have it."

"Great. I’d like to buy it. I’ll be stopping by later today," Charles said confidently.

"May I ask who’s calling?"

"Charles Grey," he replied.

The salesman hesitated before asking, "Do you own a company in the city?"

Charles frowned. "No. Why does that matter?"

The salesman suddenly chuckled. "Sir, have you actually looked at the price of that car? You want to buy it, and you don’t even own a company? Even the wealthiest business tycoons in this city hesitate before making such a purchase. You must be joking. Please don’t waste our time."

Before Charles could respond, the salesman hung up.

Charles stared at his phone in disbelief. This wasn’t the first time someone had judged him based on his past status. He took a deep breath, deciding to deal with the dealership later.

For now, he had something else to handle—he needed a personal assistant. Someone to manage his finances and help him run his affairs. And there was only one person that came to mind—Alison Miles.

He dialed her number.

"Hello?" Alison’s soft voice came through the phone.

"Hey, Alison. It’s Charles," he said.

"Charles!" She sounded surprised. "I thought I wouldn’t hear from you again."

"Why wouldn’t you? Are you still at work?"

"My shift ends at four. Is everything okay?"

"Nothing serious. I just want to meet up and discuss something important. Will you be available?"

She hesitated for a moment. "Alright. Where should I meet you?"

"I’ll text you the address. See you soon."

"Okay. See you."

About thirty minutes later, Alison arrived at his house. The moment she saw where he lived, her jaw nearly dropped.

"You… live in Golden Gate Homes?" she asked, stepping inside his mansion in disbelief.

Charles chuckled. "Welcome to my humble home."

After offering her a drink and chatting for a bit, he decided to get straight to business.

"I need a personal assistant—someone to manage my finances and help with my daily affairs. And I couldn’t think of anyone better than you. So, what do you think? Would you like to work for me?"

Alison’s eyes widened. This was unexpected.

"Charles, I already have a job," she admitted.

"I know," he said, leaning forward. "But I’m willing to pay you way more than what you earn now. You deserve to work for someone who values you. If you take this job, I’ll pay you $2 million per month."

Alison’s jaw nearly hit the floor.

Her current job at the hotel barely paid $25,000 a month. That wasn’t even enough to cover her expenses properly. She had been hoping for something better, but this? This was life-changing money.

"Why me?" she asked, still in shock.

"Because I believe in rewarding those who stand by me. Back at the hotel, everyone laughed at me, even my own brother-in-law. But you? You still treated me with kindness. I don’t forget people like that."

Alison’s lips curled into a smile. "Alright. I’ll take the job. But I need to resign first."

"You don’t need to," Charles said, smirking. "Just stop showing up. If anyone dares to question you, I’ll take care of it."

Alison’s heart raced with excitement. She never expected a simple act of kindness to change her life like this.

"So, do you have any investments you want me to manage?" she asked.

"Not yet," Charles admitted. "But I want to buy a car and hire bodyguards."

"Bodyguards?" Alison raised an eyebrow. "Do you really think that’s necessary?"

"Yes. Now that my status has changed, people might start coming after me. And let’s not forget that Sophia and her family aren’t exactly happy about my success."

"Fair enough. So, what’s the plan?"

Charles ran a hand through his hair. "I already picked out the car I want. We’ll go to Regal Motors tomorrow to buy it. I want you to come with me."

Alison’s eyes widened. "Regal Motors? Do you even know how expensive their cars are?"

Charles smirked. "That’s not a problem for me anymore. Tomorrow, I’m buying their best car."

Alison stood up, still stunned. "Alright. I’ll be here in the morning. Have a good night, Charles."

"Good night, Alison," Charles said, watching her leave with a confident smile.

As he watched Alison leave, he leaned back in his seat.

Tomorrow, he was going to buy that car.

And this time, no one would dare look down on him again.

His lips curled into a smirk. "Tell me, Charles, where did you get the money to buy a car? Did you steal it?"He crossed his arms and took a step closer, lowering his voice. "Stop pretending. We all know you're broke. No need to put on a fake show."James then shifted his attention to Alison, who stood beside Charles. His gaze raked over her,

“What on earth is going on here?” Mrs. Jean asked again, her sharp eyes scanning the store. “Why is nobody working? She had never looked this nervous before, and Charles could tell she knew that if he spilled the truth, her job was as good as gone.“What kind of customer service problem are we talking about?” Mrs. Jean asked, clearly unimpressed. She glanced around at the staff, hoping this wasn’t what she thought it was. “I can’t believe any of my employees would treat customers badly.
