We didn't have to wait too much time because the people I hired were professionals who valued their reputations. The arrival of the two architects along with the 15 workers was quite quick, not taking them much more than a few hours. They were all stationed on a nearby planet, not too far from the academy, just in case someone from the academy who would require their work would hire them. Unsurprisingly, not many people hired them considering that the number of people that could do the 5-7* missions wasn't that high. The students that attended the academy were in the millions, but I wasn't sure if even 5% of them could do 5-7* missions as easily as I and my recruits could. I shook the hands of the two architects as I told them how I wanted the building to look, I dropped the materials for the building to the workers, and after that, I waited for the two architects to make the project come to life with their skills. One of the architects started to draw into the air, taking the e
Before I could start relaxing and decorating the top room, a short figure appeared before the base doors. The clean-shaved face, the serious attitude, and the clean suit that he wore, who else could it be but the academy's principal? His visit was surprising but not unexpected, I opened the doors and let him in as I teleported to the main room for receiving guests. There was no furniture yet, so the dwarf stood there as we eyed each other, there was a certain pressure around this man that made me almost gulp instinctively, but I restrained that impulse as I asked respectfully:"What a pleasure for the principal to visit our humble base, but could I ask why? I didn't break any rules of the academy, yes?"The dwarf chuckled lightly as he looked up at me and said:"You haven't broken any unwritten rules, it's just that I'm quite interested in ambitious youths like yourself, the academy is full of talents, but most of them lack ambition, and those who have ambition play too low-key for my
After a small tussle between each other, I and Shira made up with a hug and a kiss before we made our way inside of the academy. The moment we stepped through its doors, we were immediately teleported to the principal's office, he was currently signing some paperwork as he took off his eyes from what he was writing before he looked at the two of us: "Oh, it's you two? Not surprising that you have already reached the graduation requirements." He nodded at me as he took something out of the drawer of his desk before handing it to us: "These are the academy badges that will evolve your academy account into a Regulator's Alliance account along with any of the remaining points that you have got in the student account." I took off one badge and Shira did the same, we injected some energy into them, just like instructed by the principal, and a small light screen was projected from the medal's base that said: "Minato, age 23, Academy graduate, 0 real missions done, 2,202 simulated missi
Shira smiled seeing my expression change as she felt that teasing me was fun.I couldn't help but shake my head seeing her smile, the more I lived with her, the more I understood emotions. However, my expression turned neutral. I did enjoy her company, but I didn't forget my goal...We both had already dropped onto the planet, the surroundings were quite primal, filled with nothing but high grasses and gigantic trees, we had arrived near a small river that was running down a creek, surprisingly there were no natives near this fresh source of water.I and Shira sat near the river's left bank as we watched a few ancient fishes eat each other inside, biting into each other with their oversized sharp teeth, somewhat dirtying the clear river water with blood. We were 'blissfully unaware' of our surroundings as we watched the fish fight for a few minutes before we moved on from this place to another one.We moved through jungles, forests, tall grass areas, and a few underground caves, we ev
After clearing my mental state with Shira's help, I immediately opened the light screen from the alliance membership badge before browsing the available missions there.Unlike those at the academy that were simulated, these were graded differently:It ranged from Green Color to, Yellow, Orange, Dark Orange, Red, Dark Red, and Black.Green Color meant that the failure of the inhabitants to stop hell's descent was relatively fresh, meaning that the demons that resided on the planet weren't particularly strong.Yellow meant that some time had passed since the inhabitants had been defeated and transformed into the demon's slaves, so more sinful thoughts and actions had been enacted, leading to the strength of the demons being higher.Orange meant that the planet was now fully populated by demons as even the enslaved inhabitants had given up on their humanity, slowly being morphed into the malevolent beings that have tormented them for a long amount of time, boosting the power of all the d
The yellow-rated mission was situated in the northern part of the galaxy, while we were currently in the western part. It was quite a long journey to take, even with our current speeds, it would take at least 2 weeks of non-stop traveling. Unfortunately, green color missions were easy to do even for the most basic Alliance member, so the majority of people would take them the moment they were posted, resulting in a shortage of green-rated missions. I guess I could consider myself quite lucky that I have even been able to snatch one green-rated mission. Well, it wasn't like I could improve my soul if I just destroyed planets from above the atmosphere... The green difficulty planets were easy to destroy, but that meant no improvement in the soul department for me. I'm pretty sure those demons at the Yellow difficulty and above should have created some type of barrier or they should have created something else to protect their planet from outer attacks that would end up destroying th
I kept my senses alert and open to any dimensional attacks from The Devil, now that I was on his territory, I needed to keep my guard up 100% of the time.Seeing how I was becoming serious made the green-skinned demon slowly lose his drunken stupor as the bones he used to pin my wrists and legs became sharper and tried to dig into my flesh. But the moment that happened, clanging sounds came from the contact between my metalized flesh and the bones that were attempting to dig into my body.I smiled at his attempt to injure me as I drew the sword out of my armor's storage space.I enhanced the blade with a golden sheen as I slashed forward, sending a flying slash directly toward the green demon who bent his back backward as if he had no bones in his body, barely dodging the flying slash as it flew ahead and cut into the other demons who were fighting with Shira and were unable to get out of the way in time, transforming them into mincemeat.Shira glanced back at me as I shrugged my shou
After the destruction of the first yellow-difficulty planet, we started to travel towards the second one, which wasn't that far from the first one. Shira and I dropped directly through the barrier, creating a crater on the surface of the planet. We looked around as we were immediately encircled by demons, this time around it was just like I thought it would be. Even the 7 sin wielders came forward and started to fight us, using their annoying abilities to keep us in check while the lower-ranked demons tried to exhaust and bleed us out. Unfortunately for them, we weren't dumb enough to come to this place without a plan, plus our strength was quite higher compared to theirs, so it was easy to make them think they were winning at first before dealing them a thunderous blow that made them stagger and lose all of their strength. The encirclement was broken as we killed four of the seven sin wielders, the other three capitulated and said they wanted to become our subordinates, but we h
