The 12th legacy

Being annoyed was my last worry as I waited for the squirrel to start moving once again.

However, the little annoying thing didn't want to budge in any shape or form!

It was moving so slowly that it made me want to break out of my meditation and snatch it, but I knew that I would fall for its trap if I did that.

It wanted me to break my meditation so it could run back into the withered tree trunk.

But I knew that it was forced to move as long as I was meditating!

I sat under the withered tree, and time passed slowly, I checked my internal clock from time to time as the sun that shined above the elven forest cast down and night came.

Crickets started to sing as they could be heard almost everywhere in the forest, boosting my concentration and improving my meditation, making the squirrel's small nose twitch in annoyance.

I knew that the closer the squirrel got into my range, the slower it made itself to extend its lifespan, but I continued to wait.
