"What are they doing here?" asked Davis while hiding.
Davis saw Ethan holding Susan's hand. His memory of last night came back.
"After we get married, we'll live in this house, Susan," Ethan said with a big smile. "Isn't this house amazing? Not only is it in a luxury housing complex, but it also has a nice view."
"Ethan and Susan will live next to my house?" Davis gritted his teeth, trying to contain his anger.
"Yes, it's a great house," Susan replied with a somewhat forced smile.
Ethan touched Susan's shoulder. "Susan, what's going on? Aren't you happy that we will live in such a luxurious house? Do you want me to take you to live in another house? I can find a house-"
"This house is nice. I like it." Susan observed the house in front of her intently, took a step, and let out a long breath.
Ethan paused for a moment. "Susan, do you still remember that trash named Davis?"
Davis who heard his name mentioned instantly clenched his fists tightly. One foot that had stepped quickly was pulled back.
"Davis was my childhood friend after all. His death certainly saddens me. Davis never felt happiness for most of his life."
"Susan considers me dead?" Davis choked, silent for a moment. "Does she think I'm dead because of the accident I had last night?"
Ethan grasped Susan's hand, smiling warmly even though his heart did not accept Susan's actions. "Susan, you're a very good woman. I'm proud to be your fiancé. Even though Davis stole your father's watch and harmed your Granpa, you still mourned and prayed for Davis at his grave."
Davis was even more surprised by this. "Last night's accident was indeed fatal. I could have died if the system hadn't helped me immediately. My electric bike was destroyed by fire along with the wallet containing my identity card. Who is buried in my navel?"
Susan looked down, wringing her fingers. She wasn't sure if Davis had stolen her father's watch and harmed Sebastian. She also thought that she had overreacted to Davis last night. After hearing that Davis had been in an accident and his body burned, Susan was devastated and saddened.
Susan stayed by Davis' grave for almost half an hour. She saw that Sebastian was devastated by Davis' death. If Davis had harmed Sebastian, his grandfather would not have been so sad. He became skeptical about the accusations against Davis last night.
"Susan, don't dwell on your grief. That trash means Davis is at peace now. He will no longer feel pain and injustice anymore. You can visit Davis' grave if you miss him. I'd be happy to drive you there and keep you company."
"Thank you, Ethan." Susan smiled, grasping Ethan's hand tightly.
"We should see the house now."
Susan and Ethan entered the house.
Davis smiled. "I'm glad that Susan still cares about me so much. But I need to clear up any misconceptions that I stole Uncle Drake's watch and harmed Grandpa. With the money I have, I can do that. Besides, I don't want Susan to be with Ethan. I'm sure Ethan has bad intentions toward Susan."

[Quest Duration: 3 days and 12 hours]
[Reward: 100 EXP + $1,000,000]
Davis was surprised when the holographic screen appeared, smiling shortly after. "This is my first normal difficulty quest. The reward is double that of the easy-difficulty quest. What's even better is that I have to reveal the truth about Ethan and the slander that the Anderson family is accusing me of. I must complete this quest well."
Davis glanced at the door of the house. His feet took another step but were quickly withdrawn. "I can't let Ethan do anything bad to Susan. What should I do?"
Davis thought for a moment, smiling as he came up with a plan. "I know what to do now."
Davis entered the house to get a hat, sneaking towards the house that Susan and Ethan entered, pressing the bell many times.
Susan and Ethan who had just climbed the stairs instantly stopped.
"Susan, let me open the door. You can see the house first." Ethan came down the stairs with a panicked look on his face. "Don't let the person who comes in be the estate agent's manager. My friend who works here only gives me an hour to enter one of the houses. I don't have the money to buy this luxury house. I only came to this place to impress Susan."
Ethan opened the door with a pounding heart. He was relieved when he didn't find the estate agent manager as he expected. He observed a man who was looking him up and down. "What do you want from me?"
Davis quickly turned around, took off his hat, and smiled broadly.
"Ah!" Ethan suddenly screamed and fell in surprise. His eyes and mouth opened very wide. "Da-Davis."
The door suddenly closed quite loudly due to the wind. Ethan immediately stood up to open the door and found no one outside. "Damn it. I must be hallucinating. That trash named Davis is still bothering me even though he's dead."
"Ethan, what's going on?" Susan came down the stairs in a hurry. "I heard you screaming quite loudly."
"I was just surprised to see a snake in front of the porch. This house turned out to be unsafe even though I liked its design. We'd better choose another house, Susan. I don't want you to get hurt."
"Okay." Susan nodded even though she felt Ethan's reasoning didn't make sense. This housing complex was one of the best housing complexes in Leaventown.
Susan and Ethan got out, entered the car, and drove away from the house.
Davis emerged from his hiding place, laughing when he saw Ethan's expression. "I was very satisfied when I saw Ethan was scared. I also managed to save Susan."
Davis entered the room, sitting on the couch. "I have to make a plan to complete the quest properly. With the money I have now, I can hire someone to watch Ethan and collect evidence of his crimes. I can also do it to collect evidence of the slander that the Anderson family committed."

"I think that since I have a lot of money, I can complete the quest easily by hiring the services of others. Well, I'll gather evidence of Ethan's crimes and slander the Anderson family myself, then show them who really I am. I will make them very surprised."
[Quest Completion Time: 3 days 11 hours 55 minutes]"I'm curious about the news of my death that I heard from Susan." Davis typed the keywords of last night's accident into the search bar. Several article titles instantly popped up.Davis read the top article. He found a picture of a man burning on the side of the road with an electric bicycle that had also been burned. In the middle of the article, he found his ID card half-burned."Susan and the others must have thought that the burnt man was me. I wonder who the poor guy who was burned was?"Davis read the second article. He found that the man had been in a single-vehicle accident when he hit a road divider during heavy rain.Davis remembered when a car suddenly hit him from behind. "The car seemed to hit me on purpose. As I was lying helplessly on the road, I didn't see the driver get out to help me either. I had to investigate the incident."[Quest Completion Time: 3 days 3 Hours 5 Minutes]The day turned to night.Davis was tidy
[Warning!][Dangerous situation!]Davis took another way, hiding behind a wall, watching the movements of a man about to enter the bar. The system kept giving him warnings over and over again."The system screen suddenly turned red. Who is that guy and why is he so dangerous?"[The system could not provide the information needed by the Host]Davis withdrew his body quickly when the man turned his head towards him.[Warning!][Get out of the bar as soon as possible]Davis slowly walked backward, away from the wall and the hallway. He was half running with an occasional look back. He looked back a few times to make sure that the man had not followed him.[The coast is clear][Hosts are not allowed to enter the bar]"I'm becoming more and more curious about that guy and the reason why the syst
[Quest Completion Time: 2 days 3 hours 30 minutes]Davis was not far from Ethan's apartment. He had been waiting for almost half an hour, but there was no sign of Ethan coming out. Looking to the side, he saw a tall man walking toward Ethan's room."Who is that man? Could it be the man named Felix?"The door to the apartment suddenly opened. Ethan came out with two women."Damn it, why are you still not getting ready, Ethan? Didn't you ask me to go to Anderson's family place?" asked the tall man.Ethan yawned, signaling the two women to leave. "That stupid woman named Susan and her family won't scold me just because I'm a little late. Come on in. We'll talk about our plans inside."Ethan and Felix entered the room. Davis quickly approached, keeping an eye on the surroundings, sticking a camera in the hole at the top of the door when it was safe. He checked the position of the camera from his cell phone, adjusted the camera, and then returned to his original spot.Davis saw Ethan and
"I was just asking about the job." Sebastian wheeled the wheelchair into the house, approaching a bodyguard. "Take me to my room now, and don't let anyone near without my permission."Susan and Drake watched Davis."Hey, if you're done with your work, leave this house immediately," Drake said rather shouted.Davis nodded."Dad, why do you seem to be kicking him out?" Susan asked."I don't like that man. He immediately reminded me of Davis." Drake entered the house."Dad was right. That guy reminded me of Davis," Susan observed Davis for a moment, approaching Sebastian. "Grandpa, let me help you to your room."Susan took over the duties of a bodyguard, walking behind the wheelchair. "Grandpa, why do you keep smiling? Is there something that makes you happy?"Sebastian glanced at Susan. "I'm just happy, Susan."Susan and Sebastian boarded the escalator."Grandpa, can I ask you something? It's about Ethan."The smile on Sebastian's face suddenly disappeared. "Are you asking why I didn't
"The system didn't warn me of the danger," Davis muttered as he turned to Susan, Romeo, Rebecca, and Emely who were coming toward him."Take off your hat and mask immediately. We will check you," the bodyguard ordered.Davis took off his hat and mask. He had prepared the best possible disguise in case an inspection like this happened.Davis wore fake hair and mustache and added some fake moles.Susan, Romeo, Rebecca, and Emely observed Davis from top to bottom, staring at each other for a moment. The bodyguard checked all parts of Davis' body, then moved on to Davis' bag."Isn't that the latest luxury phone?" Romeo pointed at the cell phone that the bodyguard took out of Davis' bag."You're right. It costs $10,000 in the market. Even the used phone costs $8000," Rebecca said with a surprised face."How could a janitor like you own such an expensive phone?" Emely replied.Romeo immediately pulled Davis' shoulder, glaring. "Where did you get that phone? Did you steal it from someone in
Two days later.A car pulled up in front of the porch of the Anderson family home. Ethan got out of the car, looking very presentable."Sorry if I kept you waiting," Ethan said as he approached Susan, looking her up and down. "You're so pretty tonight, Susan."Susan smiled, looking down to hide the blush on her cheeks."You're just in time, Ethan," Drake said with a bright face.Romeo and several men were whispering at the sight of the luxury car Ethan was driving. At the same time, Rebecca, Emely, and the women looked in awe of Ethan and felt jealous of Susan.Ethan looked at Sebastian in the wheelchair. "Mr. Sebastian, I am truly honored that you would come to my dinner invitation at Paradise Street."Ethan extended his hand, but Sebastian ignored Ethan.Ethan pulled his hand back, clenching it into a tight fist for a moment. "I hope you have a good time tonight."Ethan glanced at his watch for a moment, extending a hand to Susan.Susan turned to Sebastian who was staring in the oth
[Quest Completion Time: 2 hours] Ethan and Susan were on stage. "I would like to thank you all for coming to this dinner. I'm very honored, especially since Mr. Sebastian is also here," Ethan said. The Andersons listened intently, smiling. "I love Susan very much. She is the best woman I have ever met. I feel that my life will be perfect when Susan becomes my wife." Ethan held Susan's hand tighter. Susan looked down in shame, hiding the blush on her cheeks. The women of the Anderson family looked envious of the romance Ethan was showing. Sebastian ignored Ethan's words and the hubbub in the room. "Dad, Ethan is speaking on stage," Drake whispered, "I beg you to take the time to listen to Ethan and see him on stage." Sebastian ignored Drake, glancing at the door. He fully expected Davis to come in and surprise him. "Dad, you're not expecting Davis to show up and ruin dinner, are you?" Drake spoke out of exasperation. "I did expect that to happen." "Dad," Drake said in a voice
"Davis."Everyone was surprised to see Davis walking into the room. For a few seconds, they froze without taking their eyes off Davis."Ghost!" shouted Romeo, Emmely, Rebecca, Gabriel, and the rest of the Anderson family as they walked backward. They looked so scared until they bumped into each other and almost fell over."Davis." Drake suddenly fell to the floor, staring in disbelief."Davis." Susan covered her mouth. "How could you ....""How could that piece of trash still be alive? Wasn't he crushed and burned to death in an accident a few days ago? What exactly did Felix do?" Ethan muttered with a furious look.Drake immediately stood up, pointing at Davis. "Who are you? Why did you suddenly show up at my family dinner?""You really hate me, Uncle Drake," Davis smiled."Could it be that you're Davis' trashy twin brother?" asked Romeo."The clothes, shoes, and watches worn by the man who looks like Davis are famous brands with fantastic prices," Rebecca whispered to Emmely, "how c
