"What are they doing here?" asked Davis while hiding.

Davis saw Ethan holding Susan's hand. His memory of last night came back.

"After we get married, we'll live in this house, Susan," Ethan said with a big smile. "Isn't this house amazing? Not only is it in a luxury housing complex, but it also has a nice view."

"Ethan and Susan will live next to my house?" Davis gritted his teeth, trying to contain his anger.

"Yes, it's a great house," Susan replied with a somewhat forced smile.

Ethan touched Susan's shoulder. "Susan, what's going on? Aren't you happy that we will live in such a luxurious house? Do you want me to take you to live in another house? I can find a house-"

"This house is nice. I like it." Susan observed the house in front of her intently, took a step, and let out a long breath.

Ethan paused for a moment. "Susan, do you still remember that trash named Davis?"

Davis who heard his name mentioned instantly clenched his fists tightly. One foot that had stepped quickly was pulled back.

"Davis was my childhood friend after all. His death certainly saddens me. Davis never felt happiness for most of his life."

"Susan considers me dead?" Davis choked, silent for a moment. "Does she think I'm dead because of the accident I had last night?"

Ethan grasped Susan's hand, smiling warmly even though his heart did not accept Susan's actions. "Susan, you're a very good woman. I'm proud to be your fiancé. Even though Davis stole your father's watch and harmed your Granpa, you still mourned and prayed for Davis at his grave."

Davis was even more surprised by this. "Last night's accident was indeed fatal. I could have died if the system hadn't helped me immediately. My electric bike was destroyed by fire along with the wallet containing my identity card. Who is buried in my navel?"

Susan looked down, wringing her fingers. She wasn't sure if Davis had stolen her father's watch and harmed Sebastian. She also thought that she had overreacted to Davis last night. After hearing that Davis had been in an accident and his body burned, Susan was devastated and saddened.

Susan stayed by Davis' grave for almost half an hour. She saw that Sebastian was devastated by Davis' death. If Davis had harmed Sebastian, his grandfather would not have been so sad. He became skeptical about the accusations against Davis last night.

"Susan, don't dwell on your grief. That trash means Davis is at peace now. He will no longer feel pain and injustice anymore. You can visit Davis' grave if you miss him. I'd be happy to drive you there and keep you company."

"Thank you, Ethan." Susan smiled, grasping Ethan's hand tightly.

"We should see the house now."

Susan and Ethan entered the house.

Davis smiled. "I'm glad that Susan still cares about me so much. But I need to clear up any misconceptions that I stole Uncle Drake's watch and harmed Grandpa. With the money I have, I can do that. Besides, I don't want Susan to be with Ethan. I'm sure Ethan has bad intentions toward Susan."

Davis was surprised when the holographic screen appeared, smiling shortly after. "This is my first normal difficulty quest. The reward is double that of the easy-difficulty quest. Davis glanced at the door of the house. His feet took another step but were quickly withdrawn. "I can't let Ethan do anything bad to Susan. What should I do?"

Davis thought for a moment, smiling as he came up with a plan. "I know what to do now."

Davis entered the house to get a hat, sneaking towards the house that Susan and Ethan entered, pressing the bell many times.

Susan and Ethan who had just climbed the stairs instantly stopped.

"Susan, let me open the door. You can see the house first." Ethan came down the stairs with a panicked look on his face. "Don't let the person who comes in be the estate agent's manager. My friend who works here only gives me an hour to enter one of the houses. I don't have the money to buy this luxury house. I only came to this place to impress Susan."

Ethan opened the door with a pounding heart. He was relieved when he didn't find the estate agent manager as he expected. He observed a man who was looking him up and down. "What do you want from me?"

Davis quickly turned around, took off his hat, and smiled broadly.

"Ah!" Ethan suddenly screamed and fell in surprise. His eyes and mouth opened very wide. "Da-Davis."

The door suddenly closed quite loudly due to the wind. Ethan immediately stood up to open the door and found no one outside. "Damn it. I must be hallucinating. That trash named Davis is still bothering me even though he's dead."

"Ethan, what's going on?" Susan came down the stairs in a hurry. "I heard you screaming quite loudly."

"I was just surprised to see a snake in front of the porch. This house turned out to be unsafe even though I liked its design. We'd better choose another house, Susan. I don't want you to get hurt."

"Okay." Susan nodded even though she felt Ethan's reasoning didn't make sense. This housing complex was one of the best housing complexes in Leaventown.

Susan and Ethan got out, entered the car, and drove away from the house.

Davis emerged from his hiding place, laughing when he saw Ethan's expression. "I was very satisfied when I saw Ethan was scared. I also managed to save Susan."

Davis entered the room, sitting on the couch. "I have to make a plan to complete the quest properly. With the money I have now, I can hire someone to watch Ethan and collect evidence of his crimes. I can also do it to collect evidence of the slander that the Anderson family committed."
