Davis smiled as he heard the applause and shouts calling his name. "This is the first time in my life that I feel appreciated by so many people."

Davis glanced at his ring. "I wouldn't be here without your help, System."

Davis surveyed the surroundings, raising both hands high, and breathing a sigh of relief. Amid his happiness, he felt confused because the system had yet to announce if he had successfully completed the sub-quest.

"Davis won!" shouted Rebecca as she stood up from her chair, jumping up and down. "He's amazing."

Susan and Emmely were surprised when they saw Rebecca.

"Rebecca, what are you doing? Why were you so happy when Davis won the match?" Emmely asked probingly, "Could it be that you-"

"I bet on myself." Rebecca sat back in the chair, shaking her hair. She was very upset about acting stupidly in front of Susan and Emmely. "Forget about it."
