Davis quickly pulled the woman onto the bridge. "Don't act stupid!"

"What are you doing?" the woman shouted as she struggled, "Let me go! Don't prevent me from dying!"

Davis's shouts and the woman's screams instantly attracted attention. Some pedestrians seemed to stop, some crowds turned toward the bridge, and some cars slowed down.

Davis pulled the woman to the sidewalk.

"You bastard! Why are you preventing me from dying?" screamed the long-haired woman wearing a black mask. The woman cried as she hugged herself, then beat Davis. "Damn it!"

Davis looked around. Many people were making a spectacle of him and the woman, but no one was approaching.

"You shouldn't have acted stupidly like that. No matter how hard your problems are, ending your life is not the right choice," Davis said as he observed the woman who was still crying, "I'm sure there's a way out of your problems."
