Jeremiah craned his head from left to right, scoping the area for any sign of life, because from where he sat, the place seemed very dead. All the lights were shut off and even for the time of night it was currently, the environment was strangely too quiet and all his instincts were telling him that something was off. From what Jeremiah saw, everything was clear from where he parked his motorcycle to the furthest part of the chemical/gas processing plant he could see. Granted, the angle from which he was doing his surveillance didn’t give him the full picture of the plant, so there could very well be people in the area that he just couldn’t see. Reginald had to admit that Jeremiah made a lot of sense with what he had said. Things were very dangerous with Dark Emblem knowing Jeremiah’s whereabouts and were going to attack him at any moment. Reginald was already someone they wanted dead— although he wasn’t a priority like Jeremiah and Obadiah were— so it would basically be the same as putting him on a silver platter if he was anywhere near Jeremiah whenever Dark Emblem decided to attack. Jeremiah walked around the store in a soured mood, arrived at the front, and got on his motorcycle. He drove back home, all the while thinking about Grey Lucian, who was someplace he couldn’t find, and the fact that he couldn’t tell if Grey was watching him as he went back to the estate pissed him off. Anyone else would have been in a constant state of fear and worry but not Jeremiah. He believed in his capabilities as a dragon and mage and that he was able to have a calm mind. Plus, he knew that it would take some time for the members of Dark Emblem to be ready enough to attack him so in that meantime he was safe. The future, however, was a different story.
