CHAPTER 35

Jeremiah looked at Kingston and his father, who were both on their knees, and he couldn’t believe that they were actually doing that.

Those were two men he had great respect for, but there they were, lowering themselves to him like they saw him as someone far better than themselves.

Why was that?

He looked at the bodyguards that were on both sides of the wall and saw how they too were on their knees, bowing their heads to him, chanting “All hail Lord Crimson!” and only one thing came to mind.

Who was this Lord Crimson person?

It looked like they were chanting the phrase to him as a form of praise/worship, so does that mean that he was the Lord Crimson person?

But how?

He was Jeremiah, an unemployed twenty-five-year-old soon-to-be-divorcee whose mother died of a heart attack minutes after waking up from years of being in a coma, who also just found out that his father was the king of an entire kingdom, so are they saying that there was more to him than that?
