CHAPTER 40

The first guard to get close sent a punch at Jeremiah’s head and Jeremiah caught it.

He twisted the guard’s hand, spraining his wrist and the guard exclaimed in pain.

Next, Jeremiah kicked the guard in the stomach, sending him flying towards Reginald and Kingston, skidding and stopping by their feet.

The other nineteen guards didn’t pay attention to their comrade who was sent flying and continued to attack.

They threw punches and kicks at Jeremiah but he easily evaded and parried them then took them down one by one.

In one minute twenty strong and tall guards attacked Jeremiah and in that same minute, they were defeated, lying on the ground, grumbling and groaning in pain.

“Is that all? I thought we were just getting started” Jeremiah said, the blood in his veins pumping with power and adrenaline.

Jeremiah looked at the guards standing by the walls, and asked, “Who’s next?” and they all jolted.

After seeing what he had done, none of them wanted to step forward and take up that chall
