CHAPTER 90

“The eyes of a dragon? What the hell are you talking about?!” Jeremiah asked, facing Obadiah but his eyes drifted to the side, and looked into the mirror in his hand.

He couldn’t deny that what the shaman said made a lot of sense.

His eyes no longer had any semblance of what a human’s should be.

It now had a slightly elongated, almond shape with slightly raised outer corners that gave it an intense and otherworldly look. The sclera was pitch black, the iris a vibrant and unusual golden hue, and a vertical, slit-like pupil that had a reptilian edge to it.

His eyes looked like they could pierce through the soul of whoever was being stared at and it sent chills down the spine of the three in the king’s chamber with Jeremiah.

“My Lord, remember what I told you a couple of minutes ago about your body becoming different… better… stronger, after surviving the explosion that should have killed you?” Obadiah said, rubbing his neck and soothing the pain of almost being choked to death.

“Yes?”
