Chapter 7: Ultimate Sharpshooter

“Boss, all of these ten are death row inmates. That I assure you. So you can use them as your shooting targets without any remorse.”

A man in a black suit with black skin wearing dark shades led Adam Spencer to the backyard of a huge mansion.

In the backyard, there were ten men covered with a black sack over their faces tied up on a wooden pole. Several meters in front of those ten men was a table filled with different types of guns as well as boxes of ammo.

Furthermore, there were several men in black suits guarding the perimeter of the backyard as well as snipers stationed in the mountain a few kilometers away from the mansion to ensure Adam Spencer’s safety.

All of Adam Spencer’s bodyguards were either retired armies or were the best members of bodyguard agencies. They were the cream of the crop and hiring them was too expensive but for Adam who was a billionaire, he could easily pay these bunch of men to die for him with just his money alone.

Since their loyalty was already ensured by Satania, Adam didn’t doubt the loyalty of his subordinate since Satania had already done a background check as well as a personality and loyalty test for all of his subordinates.

When Adam walked into the backyard, one of the men in a black suit handed a pistol to him. “Boss, I have already loaded this gun and turned off the safety pin. You can use it to shoot those damn criminals at your discretion.”

Receiving the pistol from one of his subordinates, Adam pointed his pistol toward one of the ten criminals who were tied to a wooden pole.

Although those criminals had a black sack over their faces, they could still hear the words of Adam’s bodyguards so they knew that their life was coming to an end. The black sack only restricted their vision but not their hearing.

Adam’s mansion was located only several kilometers away from his previous house but it was in a deserted location. In other words, his mansion was on private property without any neighbors aside from himself.

Although that may a problem to most people, that was only a boon for Adam since his only neighbors were his bodyguards. So if someone unauthorized were to enter his private property, he would be alerted of it.

And since there were only his bodyguards and him in his mansion as well as his maids and butler, even if he killed the ten criminals or fired his gun, the sound of the gunshot wouldn’t alert the police. And even if it did, those ten criminals were already legally acquired by Adam through various means including but not limited to bribery.

With Adam’s status as a centibillionaire, even the government and president had to respect him since he was one of the biggest taxpayers in the US, let alone a mere policeman.

Of course, Adam didn’t care much about that since his attention was focused on killing the ten criminals in order to unlock his Ultimate Sharpshooter talent.

As much as he wanted to save Amelia Wallenstein, he was too weak to go up against the assassins from Serpent Hand.

His Ultimate talents weren’t meant for a physical battle. So his goal was to obtain the Ultimate Sharpshooter talent first and then the Ultimate Bodyguard talent afterward.

With those two Ultimate talents, he would finally have Ultimate talents suited for combat.

After Adam familiarized himself with his pistol, he pointed it at one of the criminals and placed his index finger on the trigger.

-Bang!

Without waiting for anyone’s orders and such, Adam pulled the trigger of the pistol and the bullet flew out, heading toward the criminal. But as a rookie gunman, the bullet that Adam had shot missed the criminal which made him frown.

It took him some time to get used to the recoil of the pistol as well as aiming his gun correctly. So after he was prepared, he pulled the trigger again and this time, although the bullet didn’t kill the criminal in a headshot, it still managed to penetrate through the criminal’s neck, killing him.

“One down, nine more to go.”

Adam commented as he aimed the pistol at another criminal.

Adam observed how the criminals struggled while being tied up but their efforts were rendered futile. After all, his bodyguards were professionals. Since the criminals were tied up by his bodyguards, it was impossible for them to break free without any tools in hand.

-Bang! -Bang! -Bang!

Several gunshots reverberated in the backyard of Adam’s mansion. The scent of rusted iron wafted but even after killing those criminals, Adam didn’t feel sick or the need to vomit.

As someone who was already beaten by society, Adam no longer cared about something that didn’t concern him such as the lives of other people.

In fact, it was drastically improved to the point that he could see farther than most humans!

What a joke! If the Ultimate Sharpshooter had faulty eyesight, then he might as well retire early!

So Adam discovered that his Ultimate Sharpshooter talent had not only cured his defective eyesight but also improved his vision!

To test his shooting skills, Adam pointed his pistol at a tree but before he pulled the trigger, he shook his pistol rapidly. When the bullet left the muzzle, its trajectory looked normal as it flew toward the tree.

But just a meter away from the tree, it immediately changed course and defied the laws of physics as it avoid the tree and shot the tree beside it!

In other words, Adam’s bullet changed trajectory in mid-air after it was released! It was a feat that defied the laws of physics!

“Damn, forget the Serpent Hand, even the number 1 assassin organization might not be able to pull this off!”
