Chapter 7

Mason is finally attended to by the workers, his previous colleagues when it is verified that the money isn't illegal. They gathered up what he wanted and Mason bought so many items worth the money in his account.

He has to spend that money for today and he shouldn't fail. He brought two clothes for himself and paid for it too. The clothes and some beverages he buys are for himself and they help him pack it in a bag.

While the others he buys weren't for him because how is he going to gather it up. Where is he going to put it? He can't take it to his house to avoid suspicion from Bella and attract thievery.

If Bella knows this, she may take some drastic steps or change and she wants to test her first.

"So where should we deliver what you brought?" Mr John asks. He makes sure he stays by them while answering Mason because he doesn't want them to fumble in front of him or lose their cool.

The one standing in front of them isn't the employee he sacked then but a customer, a wealthy customer who came to buy something and his character has to change because of that.

If he leaves the workers to him, they may lose their cool and insult him. Mason may get annoyed and leave his shop and he doesn't want that. His workers may not know but he is a customer now not someone they bullies.

"Donate it to the orphanage and give it to the homeless." Mason says indifferently. Mr John eyes widens and his mouth is open due to how speechless he is.

"What is it, Mr John? You look pale." Mason asks concerningly or pretends to do. Mr John thinks that Mason doesn't know what he said. He just speaks like a billionaire who has enough with him.

"Don't tell me you brought all this goods to donate. You need it more than them." One of the workers said and Mr John nudged him.

"Stop it!" Mr John warns him and faces Mason back.

"No problem, we will do just that."

"But these." Mason said, pointing at what he bought for himself. "Are for me." Mason added.

"Okay then. She will pack it for you ." Mr John replies and orders them to pack it. Mason carries the bag where they pack his goods and walks out immediately. As much as he wants to spend some time with them because he is enjoying their unreadable expression and death stares coming from his colleagues. But he has some things to do.

He brings out the iPhone and turns it on.

"Congratulations. You have been rewarded with 100 golden points." Siri says to him. The bar fills up and the golden points rise up. Mason smiles happily as he watches it skyrocket. Golden points are the highest points and a hundred one means a task completed.

Maybe it wasn't as hard as he had thought.

"Your next task has been given to you." Siri says, invading his thoughts.

The next second, his phone beeps and he brings it out to check the message. A million dollars into his main bank account.

"The money has been sent to you and it has no time limit to spend. The game is on." Siri added.

Oh My God… Mason exclaims and finds somewhere to sit. A million dollars into his main bank account and it has no time limit. Isn't that amazing? This has no limit to spend then he should get something for himself since the money was sent to his main Bank account. He's rich. He's wealthy. He has become a wealthy man in just a few seconds. Isn't this amazing?

Mason becomes grateful to Mr John for sacking him from his job that afternoon because he wouldn't have seen the flier. He may have seen it later but that will have been late. He's glad he sees it early and now, he's done with half of the task. Maybe being sacked was a blessing after all. Now he believes in the word "Every disappointment is a blessing."

With this, he will be able to pay back that man's money. The man who saved his life. He is already wondering how he will pay back his money but guess it's easy as he has thought. A way has been made. It's now easy to pay him back.

Next was Bella and her mother, Stella. Now that he's getting wealthy, what will Bella do? Mason thinks of testing her one more time.

He thinks of testing her honesty one more time and if she fails, he will surely take revenge for all that she has done to him. Her and her mother, he will take revenge on them for the brutality that makes him pass through.

He will test her honesty one more time, just one more time. And if she passes, then he will find her eligible to spend the money with him since she's carrying his child. She will share in his wealth if she passes and if she fails, he will take revenge on her not minding whether she's carrying his baby or not.

Before he was fidgeting on whether to go back home or not since he doesn't want Bella to know about him being fired from his job but now, he's ready to go home.

And he's determined to test her.

Mason stands up and walks home. He always walks from home to his workplace and from his workplace back to home since he has no cash to board a cab.

And now that he's tagging himself as a soon to be wealthy man, he has no cash to board a cab. The only difference from then and now is that money, a huge amount of money is in his bank account.

Mason grabs tightly to what he bought and makes his way home. He will be able to eat something good today even if Bella doesn't prepare anything for him tonight because he had bought some junk food and foods in the supermarket. And he can branch out to a restaurant if he feels like it. He will just have to take his card with him.

When he steps into his neighborhood, he sees his kind neighbor who lent him some money rushing out somewhere. As polite as Mason is, he waves at him while the man simply smiles back at him and goes his way. Mason will always be grateful to that man because if he hadn't lent him some money and let him die, then he wouldn't have come across the Flyers.
