Chapter 71

They shut the door with a loud bang, leaving him to fate. He did not care what would happen to him, or how he would survive the beating. He was at least satisfied that he had taught the engineer a lesson he would never forget so easily.

The engineer laid on the floor, looking helpless and weak. He could barely open his eyes. His vision was blurry, he could not even move a muscle.

He just laid there, helplessly, wishing that someone would come and help him. His face was covered in blood, as they had kicked him severally, causing blood to come out of his mouth and nose.

He could swear that he did absolutely nothing to the robotic device. He did not even know what the chief minister was talking about.

Even though he had not tested out the robotic device yet, before giving it to the chief minister, he was sure that he had successfully computed the device and coded it with the right programme.
