Miriam fretted and opened her drawer. She began bringing out different sorts of documents and placing them on the desk in front of Rex, while Mr. Duke curled his hands on his head, hopping around the office as he never knew what awaited him.

"You had vowed to put me in trouble; you set me up to disgrace me and have started the mission to bring my company down, just the way Mr. Darius did," Rex thundered.

His growl alarmed other staff, including Ava and Caroline, and they rushed into the office.

"Sir, what is the problem?" one of the staff members asked.

Rex couldn't help but ignore his question because uttering a word would only increase his anger.

After Miriam was done arranging those documents, she took them to Ava as Rex instructed and walked out of the office.

After a few minutes, every one of the staff went to their offices, including Ava, with the documents Miriam handed her.

However, Mr. Duke was still in the office with Rex, waiting for Rex to conclude what would be his fate.
