He addressed Mr. Duke and his workers and told the entire staff of Polite about their mission for the company; however, he introduced Caroline as the new accountant.

At 3:40 p.m., Rex was in his office working with his laptop when, suddenly, he decided to take a break and have his lunch as he was also hungry. However, Ava's thoughts came to his mind, and he couldn't help but text her.

Rex: "Hello, dear, How is work going? I hope you are coping with the new environment."

After ten minutes, he sent the message and returned to work with his laptop, waiting for her reply. His phone awakened, and he quickly unlocked it to check if it was a message from Ava. Fortunately, it was—it was a message from her.

He tapped to read further.

Ava: Good afternoon, sir. Yes, it isn't really easy for me; I'm not used to the rules, but hopefully, within a month, I'll capture everything.

Rex let out a smile after reading, and he immediately began typing.
