18: All Girls Are The Same
The young, beautiful lady smiled at Rex's gaze toward her, but Rex ignored her and tried to focus on his food; he couldn't waste the energy left in him on unreasonable things like smiling back at her because he was famished. But the lady didn't give up; she stared at Rex for like every five minutes.

He thought the lady recognized him; probably they had met somewhere years ago, but her gaze was more than the emotion of seeing an old friend; she was looking at him admirably. Indeed, Rex was worth admiring, even when he was broke, to talk of now he found himself in a place full of silver and gold.

After he was done eating, he stood up to leave and accidentally made eye contact with the lady. At this moment, he was able to smile at her. At least he is now satisfied, no longer hungry, and he realizes she is beautiful—beautiful enough to catch any man's attention at first sight, with her adorning eyes like those of a pet cat. Indeed, she's beautiful—more than Cassandra, even.
