Rex wished he could explain to Andrea everything that happened, but he decided to keep it to himself for a moment because he knew it would be doubtful news to Andrea, his friend.

Andrea couldn't do anything but stare at Rex in disbelief.

Rex told him not to worry much about him and that things were now okay with him. So Andrea agreed after all his plans to know how Rex got the credit card went fruitless and what he meant by his tense: "Don't worry about me; I'm no longer the old version of Rex everyone knew."

The hand pulled him back, and he veered around and discovered it was one of the school security personnel. "Hey, boy, where are you going?" the security asked. This magic happens with the aid of some professors; though it's an illegal act and has a massive punishment for it, some professors and lecturers indulge in it because of the money those big boys bribe them with. "Excuse me, sir, when did it become your duty to monitor my whereabouts? Is here a secondary school or creche to be monitoring my activities?" Rex questioned. The reply he got from the security personnel was beyond his imagination; he expected the man to apologize and let

He knew the only solution to save him was to lie; he couldn't even remember the last time he lied, but he had to do it now, to save himself from Professor Lenson. "Sir, I have been in the class since you entered," Rex fibbed. The professor approached closely in Rex's direction; he removed his spectacles and glanced at Rex directly at his eyeballs. He stared at him for some seconds to make him feel the dreadful aura and grandeur in him. "And where are you coming from?" Professor Lenson added Rex adjusted back; he wanted to tell the truth, but he did not really want to miss the lecture, and he thought of how his coursemates would react if he tell lies.
