"I'm really sorry that I came without your awareness," Jackson pleaded. "I got a phone call from him saying he tried calling you but you didn't pick up his call," he explained.

"So that led you both to come here, I put it to you, Jackson, you've been spying on me," he said, smirking. "Do you think I've forgotten the incident that happened on that early morning — the morning I encountered you at the staircase, and you fretted as you saw me?" he added.

"So you think I'm too young to be easily fooled?" He questioned.

There was a clear, confused expression written on the manager's face. He wondered what resulted in those words Rex was saying; he wasn't even excited to see him or ask him about the car they agreed he would deliver to him. Was it even his fault? He tried calling Rex as he instructed him so he could tell him his new address, but ended up being snubbed.
