"Good day, sir. You appear to be confused. Have you had any negative experiences with our services?" The woman at the reception center inquired.

Rex sighed as he realized someone had noticed his misbehavior.

"No, nothing at all," he said, trying to cover up his embarrassing attitude. He didn't want them to notice he was a local chap.

He approached the receptionist and requested a card, as he saw others coming out with cards.

"How much did you say it cost?" Rex asked, making sure he heard the lady right because he thought the price he just heard from her was a mistake.

"$2,000, sir," the lady remarked.

Rex raised his eyebrow in shock; he never imagined there could be a place where people spend so much money just for a haircut. Immediately, he remembered where he was— it was the barbershop where almost all the inmates of New Heaven Estate cut and styled their hair. He gulped and requested the card.

The woman handed him the card back after deducting $2,000 from it — the credit card
