05 : Young Master > Let's get you home

Hudson let out a very loud scream as he felt the cold and painful liquid being poured on him from the crown of his head downwards, he was drenched, he couldn't tell what the liquid is, the room was dark, he couldn't tell who his tormentors are but he had a guess, he knew who it might be.

"Please let me out, I beg of you!" he yelled out pleadingly, looking around the dark room, he couldn't see anything, he couldn't even locate his way out of the room.

"Please I am begging you, I will do anything you want, just let me out!" he cried out.

Silence enveloped the room immediately, the footsteps, light chuckles and muffled laughter that he was once hearing had ceased, this scared him the more.

Suddenly one of the people in the room burst into laughter and then another followed.

The light was turned on and Hudson raised his head looking at who they were.

He swallowed hard with difficulty, it was as if there was a lump in his throat.

Ethan had an angry expression plastered on his face, he seemed to be trying his possible best to be calm but he was failing miserably at it.

He was holding a bat in his hand and each of his five friends were holding a weapon of their own also.

"What did I tell you about meeting up with Alexis?" he asked with a slight chuckle, a dark one to be precise.

Hudson couldn't say anything, he just brought his head down, looking at the floor like it's going to help him answer the question that he was just asked.

"Alexis is my girlfriend, there is no way she wants anything to do with a douche bag like you, what will she want to discuss with you?" Ethan asked mockingly, the rest of his friends scoffed at him.

Oh f***! Why didn't I think of that? Why will she want to have anything to do with me?. Hudson asked himself inwardly.

He was so absorbed with thinking whether she was real that he didn't even think of why she would want to have a discussion with someone she barely knew.

"From the email sent," Ethan began, hitting the bat on his hand softly, walking round Hudson slowly, "To you getting stopped outside, to Alexis helping you in, to you getting the note to meet here and you walking straight here, into the net perfectly set for you and you alone, was all planned by me, every important detail that led you here was orchestrated by me"

He walked closer to Hudson and whispered in his ear slowly, one word at a time, "Am. I. Not. The. Master. Planner?"

Ethan swept Hudson's feet off the floor, a barrage of beating followed next, his bat hitting every available place on his body as hard as he could.

He felt a sharp intense pain vibrate his whole body as the bat made its first contact with his body from a heavy swing with force, he couldn’t help but let out a loud yell filled with pain.

His scream seems to be the fuel for something mysterious in Ethan, a smile appeared on his face after hearing him yell out in pain, he made sure that the bat got more painful the next time it came in contact with his body.

This was the only trigger his friends who were also getting impatient needed and they joined in the beating also, hitting their weapons on various parts of his body with as much brute force as they could muster.

"Please let me go this once!" he cried out pleadingly. Tears streaming down his face, his mind could barely take the pain that his body was receiving at the moment.

His continuous pleas fell on deaf ears, the only thing it did was heighten the beatings, he could see a smile on their faces, the more he yells and pleads, the wider their smile and the pains that he feels increases.

His groans as the bats and whatever they were using came in contact with his body, his cry for help, their painting, those were the only things that filled the room.

They kept on hitting and hitting, even after seeing blood flow out of the wounds they had created on his body, they didn't stop.

"Please I can't take anymore" he yelled out but his voice betrayed him and came out more of a soft whisper to him, he was too weak to even raise his voice.

It seems they were getting tired and had beaten him to their heart's satisfaction, the beating decreased slowly, each of them going on to sit on the only comfy chair in the room. It has a red leather, it was long and curvy, there was a small table in front of it, with drinks and small glass cups placed on it.

Each of them made sure to kick his body before leaving him.

Ethan cleaned himself up, wiping the bloodstains on his fist and face, his group of friends did the same also while taking s couple shots of the drink on the table, laughing at intervals at Hudson who seemed to be close to death, none of them was afraid of what will happen to them if he dies, jail is not in the option.

Ethan kicked his almost lifeless body as be made his way out, slamming the door shut.

Ethan went back to the party, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly with a refreshed and satisfied look on his face, his friends all went to separate places, he caught sight of Alexis walking around like she was looking for something, there was a puzzled expression on her face while raising her neck up to see if she will see anybody.

She felt a hand snuck up around her waist like a snake coiling around someone.

She knew who it was instantly, through the fragrance, she turned her head to the side and looked at him with a weak forced smile plastered on her face.

"What are you looking for?" Ethan asked her suddenly.

"Oh, it's 'who' actually" she replied and turned her head around, continuing her search.

"Ok, who are you looking for?" Ethan asked with a calm, soft voice.

"It's Hudson actually, I am sure I let him come in but I can't seem to find him around, no matter how hard I try" she said with a frown.

"Have you seen him around, do you know where he is?" she asked, still looking around.

Ethan was furious immediately after the question, he covered it up with a smile immediately and tightened his grip on her waist a bit, forcing her to look at him.

"No, I don't know where he is," he answered with a bright smile on his face. "Why worry about such a boring human, let's enjoy the party, you will probably see him mid-way" he said, his voice sounding with so much conviction.

"Ok" Alexis nodded her head, still looking around a bit, she let Ethan guide her to whereever he is going with his hand around her waist, holding her possessively ans walking around like he is showing a very proud possession.

Hudson stood up slowly with difficulty and a loud grunt, he had a pained expression as he leaped out of the room on one feet, slamming the door shut weakly. His left eye was almost closed, his face was swollen, his lips were heavily bruised and his nose was broken, his shirt was stained with blood.

He heard mutters and incoherent whispers but he paid them no attention and wasn't even putting any effort to try and hear what they were saying.

He found his way out of the building and was still feeling people's gaze on him but he acted like he don't care at all, secretly praying that he should be invisible to them.

He wandered aimlessly in the street, walking with no direction in mind.

He stopped at a bridge and rested on it, looking down at the sea, he let the tears he had been holding back fall down his face endlessly.

He scoffed sadly amidst sobs, he can't believe what had just happened tonight, the first time that the girl he had loved since college days till the present time, decided to talk to him was actually to set him up, he felt his heart broken and shattered into different pieces, there was immense pain in his chest.

"Gawd, I hate everyone, I hate you Alexis!" he said through seethed teeth, his face showing the immense pain that he was feeling.

Every word that he was saying was filled with the truth, he meant every word from the bottom of his heart.

His life felt so fucked up, he lost the will to live again that instant, he climbed over the bridge, he saw the headlight of a car approaching, he didn't even waste a millisecond and he jumped into the sea.

The sea made a loud sound as he dropped in, bubbles and ripples ruse to the surface immediately.

Hudson felt his life slowly seeping out of him, he didn't even struggle, he just let the cold hands of death drag him into the abyss slowly.

****

Hudson was barely conscious of his environment but he felt a hand grab him out of the water, everywhere was dark.

"Is this really death?" he asked himself inwardly, "how peaceful"

.

"Young master, it's time to return home" he heard a voice say in the distance.

He wanted to reply but there was no single strength left in him, he succumbed to the darkness that enveloped him.
